The Reel Borders Team presented part of their research on the Moroccan-Spanish border in Ceuta which sheds light on the complex and problematic realities hundreds of women are forced to live with since the closing of its borders during the covid-pandemic. Having worked irregularly in Ceuta for more than decades, these Moroccan women are still unable to return to their families and home country.

Reel Borders presented three of their 26 short films to stimulate debate about labour, gender and mobility in the context of EU borders and beyond.
