Olga Van Oost

Olga Van Oost teaches ‘Cultural Debates’ (Culturele Vraagstukken) at the VUB. She is director of FARO, the Flemish Institute for Cultural Heritage and museologist. In her daily work in the cultural field as well as in her research practice, she is intrigued by the interactions between culture and society. The ‘museum in transition’ is her main field of research. Olga obtained a Phd in Communication Studies on the topic. She holds master degrees in Art History & Archaeology and in Communication Studies.
