Kait Bolongaro

Kait Bolongaro is a PhD student at the VUB Communication Studies Department. Her doctoral research focuses on media coverage of far-right political movements in the European Union. She graduated from the Erasmus Mundus Master’s in Journalism, Media and Globalization in 2014 with a thesis on reporting on France’s military intervention in Mali. Along with her research interests, Kait is an award-winning politics reporter whose work has been published by Bloomberg, POLITICO Europe, The Guardian, The Washington Post and BBC, among others.
