Gijs Lambrechts

Gijs Lambrechts is a PhD student on a scholarship of the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO). He obtained his Master's degree in Communication Sciences (Media, Journalism and Politics) with extracurricular courses in political science at the VUB, where he wrote a thesis on objectivity in climate journalism. Afterwards, he obtained a second master's degree in Policy Economics at the KU Leuven with a thesis on the economic effects of the European Recovery Program. Gijs' doctoral research will focus on populism, climate, and inequality.
