Guadalupe Peres Cajas

Guadalupe Peres-Cajías, is Head of the Social Communication Research Center (Cibescom-Universidad Católica Boliviana “San Pablo”) and main editor of its Journal. She is a Ph.D. student of Communication Studies in the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium). Her thesis focuses on understanding the sensemaking of Transdisciplinary Learning Communities (an innovative approach for promoting development) in an inter university cooperation program, between Belgium and Bolivia. She has published several works about communication, cultural studies, and methodologies for social research. Also, she is a regular columnist for four newspapers in Bolivia. Her contribution to academia and media has been recognized by the Ministry of Culture of France with the distinction of “Chevalier” from "L' ordre des Arts et des Lettres".
